Welcome to the 47th Bowl-O-Rama

 Welcome to the 47th annual BOR which is a little different again this year due to  the new commissioner Abby Normal.

It appears several teams have opted out of participating. Notre Dame withdrew because they felt passed over by not making the top 12 teams. WTF join a conference and stop nailing down the NBC preference! Also Kansas State and Iowa State dropped out for coaches leaving and each were fined $500,000 by their league …not fair but their conference loses lots of dough.

Also the bowl had to dip into 7 teams with 5-7 records; all declined to play. Hey now we got some leakers playing which could make for some crazy spreads. Thanks to Abby for making this year more fun for all :)

Starting games on my birthday December 22nd was a coincidence but as dyslexia may happen with aging I’ll be 18 again.

Thanks to the BOR team of Lynn Vilker (Poohbear) who created and manages the website and to Wayne Wegner (WaWa) who does the scoring system, collects donations, and pays out winners...so be very nice and timely with all your picks!!

What to do:

1. Download the Pick Sheet from the website. Next to the team you pick to win, assign the number of points you think they will win by. DO NOT put in any scores, just your spread points next to your winning guess. 

2. Put your handle and name on the Pick Sheet

3. Use the Pick Sheet from the Website, do not make your own.

4. The Holiday Bowl will be the tie breaker game.

5. Make sure to choose "Total Points scored" in this game as this is the tiebreaker.

6. Save your picks in the downloaded spreadsheet to your desktop and email them to Wawa!

Of course, the top five players with the most points will get some kind of reward and  the DFL will ride free!
